New Delhi, Tech Desk. Meta plans to launch another consumer-grade virtual reality headset next year. On the company’s earnings call late Wednesday, Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the new high-end VR headset delivers high-resolution mixed reality to blend virtual objects into the physical environment around users.
Based on virtual and mixed reality
“Our goal for the Quest Pro line over the next several years is to enable more people to better do their work on PC in virtual and mixed reality,” Zuckerberg said.
Our work will have historical significance and lay the groundwork for an entirely new approach. Zuckerberg believes it will lead to solid prioritization, discipline, and competence to navigate the current environment and grow as a better firm.
Recently launched Meta Quest Pro.
Recently, Zuckerberg unveiled Meta Quest Pro, a VR headset packed with features like full-color mixed reality, in the presence of the company’s chairman and CEO Satya Nadella. It was priced at $1,500.
The Meta Quest Pro was the first product in a new line of advanced headsets designed to expand the possibilities of virtual and mixed reality. Its pancake lens sometimes bends the light, reducing the headset’s size while showing intense scenes.
