There was a reshuffle in the captaincy last season
Just before the start of last season, Dhoni gave up the captaincy and handed over this responsibility to Ravindra Jadeja. The team’s performance under Jadeja’s captaincy was inferior, and after that, he left the captaincy in the middle of the season. Dhoni was again made the captain of the team. Before the upcoming season, the team management has made it clear that even though Jadeja has been retained, only Dhoni will captain the team next season.
