The speculation around Jasprit Bumrah‘s ailment seems to be expanding every day. The veteran Indian player who was scheduled to go to Guwahati with the Indian side has now been excluded from the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. Jasprit Bumrah has been out of action from international cricket for a while due to a long fight with a back stress fracture.

As far as the Indian squad is concerned, this year is crucial. Later this year, India will host the ODI World Cup, and the Indian team management will make every effort to field a fully fit eleven, increasing their chances of bringing home the cherished trophy for the third time. The three-match T20I series between India and Sri Lanka is already over, and India prevailed 2-1. Senior players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will return as the One Day International (ODI) World Cup comes into focus, but Jasprit Bumrah will once again miss out on playing cricket.
