Marathon will be organized on 18th December under Vedanta’s Run for Zero Hunger. Honorable Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot released the Vedanta Pink City Marathon poster in Jaipur. After the recent Half Marathon organized by Vedanta under Run for Zero Hunger in Delhi, the 7th edition of Vedanta Pink City Half Marathon will be managed by Hindustan Zinc on 18th December. The Pink City Half Marathon has been organized with Cairn Oil & Gas since 2017.
Gehlot released the Vedanta Pink City Half Marathon poster, highlighting the theme of healthy Rajasthan. Arun Mishra, Chief Executive Officer of Hindustan Zinc, Rajasthan Project President of Cairn Brigadier BS Shekhawat, and other officials were present on the occasion of the poster release. Manoj Soni, executive of the marathon organizer institute Anybody, Can Run, gave information about the marathon.
Hindustan Zinc CEO Arun Mishra thanked Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for launching the Vedanta Pink City Half Marathon. He said that this initiative of Run for Zero Hunger is vital under the campaign of Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal to give back to society. Transformation for a sustainable future is at the heart of our business operations. Through the Nandghar project, we have taken a step to make India’s malnutrition accessible. This marathon is another effort in the same direction.
He called upon all members of the Vedanta family to inspire communities, family, friends, and business partners to participate in the Vedanta Pink City Marathon to fulfill the cause of Run for Zero Hunger.
Virtual participants will also participate in the Vedanta Half Marathon and the on-ground event and support the Run for Zero Hunger.
